These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Madam Business Owner website, services, and related platforms (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
About Madam Business Owner
Madam Business Owner (“Madam B,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online directory and discovery platform designed to showcase women-owned businesses. We provide subscription-based listings, promotional tools, and related services. We are not a marketplace, broker, agent, or guarantor of business outcomes.
Eligibility & Account Registration
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal authority to enter into contracts
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity occurring under your account
- Keeping your listing information accurate and up to date
We may suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Subscription Services & Payments
Plans
Madam B offers paid annual subscription plans that allow businesses to create and maintain listings.
No Refunds
If a subscription package is purchased, it may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After this 24 hour period, there are no refunds. This 24 hour period only applies to the subscription packages. Purchase of digital downloads or Madam Business Owner Shop purchases are non-refundable.
- All fees are non-refundable
- No partial refunds for unused time
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew annually unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time to prevent renewal. Your listing remains active through the end of the paid term.
User Content & Listings
Your Content
You may upload or submit content including:
- Business descriptions
- Images, logos, and branding
- Links, promotions, and offers
- Reviews or responses
You retain ownership of your content but grant Madam B a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Display, distribute, and promote your content
- Use content in marketing and promotional materials
- Modify formatting for platform display
Content Standards
You agree not to post content that:
- Is false, misleading, or deceptive
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Is discriminatory, offensive, or unlawful
- Promotes illegal or unethical activity
We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.
Reviews, Ratings & Community Content
Madam B may allow users to post reviews or ratings.
- Reviews reflect the opinions of users, not Madam B
- We do not verify or endorse reviews
- We may remove reviews that violate content standards
You agree not to manipulate reviews or engage in fraudulent behavior.
Platform Role & Disclaimer
Madam B:
- Does not guarantee visibility, leads, sales, or revenue
- Does not vet or endorse listed businesses
- Is not responsible for interactions between users and businesses
All decisions, transactions, and engagements occur at your own risk.
Third-Party Services & Links
The Platform may include links to third-party websites or services.
- We do not control or endorse third-party content
- We are not responsible for third-party actions, policies, or damages
Use of third-party services is at your discretion.
Intellectual Property
All Platform content (excluding user content), including:
- Branding
- Design
- Logos
- Text, graphics, and software
is owned by Madam B or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, or exploit Platform content without written permission.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, or misuse data
- Interfere with Platform functionality
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Misrepresent your business or identity
Violation may result in suspension or termination.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access:
- For violations of these Terms
- For harmful, abusive, or unlawful behavior
- At our discretion to protect the Platform or community
Termination does not entitle you to refunds.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Madam Business Owner is not liable for:
- Lost revenue or business opportunities
- Data loss or platform downtime
- User-generated content
- Third-party actions
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Madam Business Owner from claims arising from:
- Your content
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your interactions with other users or customers
Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal action, you agree to contact us to attempt resolution.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Venue
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Missouri, USA.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
